Happy New Year!

As we reflect back on 2015, and look forward to some of the things we want to accomplish in 2016 (like trying to get our house back in order from the flood of 2014!), let’s take a look at what Bevy of Birdhomes accomplished in 2015 and some of the exciting, upcoming events for this year.

Some of you may have noticed that our website looks a little different than before. That is because we redesigned it, with a goal of continued interaction and updates for our viewers.  Weekly blogs are one way that we give you up-to-date information; hence this post.  In addition, our monthly newsletters are still going strong—if you would like to be added to that list please contact us.  Although there are still quite a few changes that we are making to the website—such as updating the photos of aviaries, and adding a section on the birds we provide—the website is fully functioning and contains tons of useful information about our company, how to care for your aviary and birds, and the benefits that housing birds in your space brings to the lives of many.

Our logo has also changed to take on a more organic appeal, with the wood-grain as the backdrop –you may remember the Christmas green we used to have. And, in case you do not, a lovely picture has been provided below; definitely an improvement–right?

The company trailer, used for delivering aviaries, has advanced from a rickety, old, pieced-together DIY project, which subsequently fell apart during one of the trips—no joke—to a fully enclosed metal one. This has taken a load of stress off our trips!

And finally, we are keeping our beloved aviary technician (Mindy Ford) who has worked for the company for several years; however, she will be focusing on the aviaries in northern California and a new technician will be hired to take on the southern California route.   Be on the lookout for this new face this coming year, in addition to posts about all our employees.
